I am a Registered Psychotherapist and graduated from the Spiritual Psychotherapy (Jan 2018) and Spiritual Director (June 2017) programs at Transformational Arts College. I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
I offer Psychotherapy in Georgetown to individual clients looking for a safe, non-judgmental space to help them navigate through their overwhelming feelings and challenges (anxiety, grief, depression, relationship issues and life transitions). Some of the techniques I use to help my clients are: Talk Therapy; Reiki; Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping; Inner Child Work; Mindfulness; Meditation; Visualization and Body Psychotherapy.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I am able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and rediscover the joy that you once had in your life, as well as help you regain some control.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you manage and possibly overcome these symptoms through several different techniques.
Individual relationship counseling can be beneficial to those who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held as an individual session and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
My Psychotherapy Services are not covered by OHIP. If you have a health insurance plan you will need to check with the administrators of your plan to see if they offer coverage for Psychotherapy from a Registered Psychotherapist (license #007604) who is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
My fees are as follows:

All sessions can be in person at my office, by phone or we can arrange a video session via a secure, private PHIPA compliant online platform.

Cancellations made 24 or more hours in advance do not incur a charge. You can pay at your next scheduled session or within a one-week period if you have no further sessions scheduled.
If I need to cancel our session for any reason you will not be charged. If I give you less than 24 hours notice there will be no charge for your make-up session.
A missed appointment will be charged in full.
Additional fees may apply if you require me to prepare special notes, letters, forms or documentation.
Your physical and emotional health is my greatest focus. Based on public health recommendations of social distancing, my practice is offering video sessions or phone sessions to ensure you continue to have access to care, and that you don’t have to be concerned about possible exposure in waiting rooms, offices, etc. While I have not been exposed, I am taking the utmost care.
My Wellness Policy is asking that you change to a video, phone or distant session if you have any of the following:
-Runny or Stuffy Nose
-Any Contagious Illness
-If you have travelled outside the country in the last two weeks
I am waiving cancellation fees for those that need to cancel for any of these reasons.
I am continuing to hold and schedule appointments as per usual at this time in accordance with my above Wellness Policy. Psychotherapy clients may opt for a phone or e-therapy session. Please note that I am able to offer Distant Reiki sessions as usual or you may convert an existing Reiki appointment to a Distant Reiki session. Feng Shui Consults can also be arranged virtually.
Telephone sessions OR video sessions may be a great option for you if:
1. you are social distancing
2. in self-isolation/self-quarantine, OR
3. feeling unwell.
I have offered telephone sessions and video sessions since beginning my practices. I have now completed training in best-practices for online therapy and I am very comfortable using electronic delivery options.
The software I use is secure, PHIPA-compliant, and can easily be installed on your smartphone or computer.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like to switch your session to a telephone or video consultation OR you would like to learn more about these options.
Meanwhile, please do keep up your self-care practices during this anxious time and otherwise let common sense prevail.
Please contact me with questions.
